The
hot spot for boys out on the town. If climbing Mt. Everest is
more of what your sons had in mind for a visit to Paris, it’s
not too late for a workout, that is. For example: there are more
than 1,710 stairs to the top of the Eiffel Tower, or 704 steps
up to Level Two. Give him a chance to declare, “I’m
the King of the World”, after climbing all the way to the
top. There are 385 steps up to the world-famous gargoyles at Notre-Dame;
about 270 steps up to Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre; and 284
steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. For a little less physical
bonding experience with your son, consier a visit to Les Catacombes,
Napoleon’s Tomb and the Musée de l’Armée.
Or for maximum gross-out effect, why not take a tour of Les Egouts
de Paris, the city sewers. Another alternative is to don a bandana
and take a barge ride a la Jack Sparrow. Be sure to also bust
a move with break dancers in Les Halles or star gaze at Musée
de L’Air et de l’Espace (Air and Space Museum).
